Camilla completed her Master of Speech and Language Pathology at Macquarie University in Sydney and has worked across the continuum of care for adults with communication and swallowing disorders since graduating. Camilla’s career has largely been based within both public and private hospitals in Sydney and has also included 2 years in London; currently she is based in regional NSW. Having grown up in Central West NSW, Camilla enjoys providing a specialist adult speech pathology service in regional and remote settings, and she has gained extensive experience in delivering Speech Pathology intervention via telehealth.

Camilla provides personalised and evidence-based assessment and therapy that is tailored to suit the individual needs of her clients, and she enjoys being involved in a multidisciplinary approach as part of her management. Camilla works with clients who have communication disorders relating to speech, language, voice and fluency, as well as swallowing disorders such as difficulty chewing or managing certain textures of food or fluids. Areas of specific interest and specialised clinical knowledge include acquired neurological disorders such as stroke and traumatic brain injury (TBI), and progressive neurological disorders such as Parkinson’s disease, Motor Neurone Disease (MND) and dementia. She is a certified Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT Loud®) clinician and has extensive experience in the management of voice and speech disorders in Parkinson’s disease. Camilla has experience working in the mental health sector, working with clients with schizophrenia, depression and anxiety to improve their functional communication skills.

When Camilla isn’t working, she enjoys spending time on her family sheep, cattle and cropping farm where she grew up and currently lives. She loves getting to know people from all walks of life, travelling, cooking and reading in her leisure time.
