Krista is a Psychologist who has worked extensively in acute & community mental health. Providing tailored and diverse psychological tools & treatment to adults and youth experiencing mood disorders, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, complex trauma & PTSD, disorders of addictions and schizophrenia spectrum & other psychotic disorders. Krista encompasses a high level of experience from her varied roles and a substantive skillset providing treatment to individuals who have required prompt and sensitive acute mental health treatment, or experienced early signs of a mental health crisis and for persons who have enduring mental health difficulties. Krista has facilitated treatment groups for personality disorders and eating disorders and has provided telehealth treatment in regional and remote settings of NSW, Australia.
Krista provides comprehensive psychological assessments and she takes pride on delivering best practise psychological treatment & holistic interventions for individuals who are experiencing a new or long-term mental health condition. She prioritises education for newly diagnosed disorders, to set the foundation for efficacious psychological therapies and skills-based training for individuals seeking to promote their sense of self, well-being and enhance functioning and livelihood. She exhibits considerable psychological knowledge and is trained & well versed in CBT, DBT, ACT and Schema Therapies. She works with a range of psychological therapies to match the needs of her clients and support their personal goals.
