Originally from Finland and raised in the United Kingdom, Dr Minna graduated from the University of Cambridge and completed her medical training at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals in London before moving to Sydney. She pursued specialist paediatric training through The Children’s Hospital at Westmead whilst embracing the joys and challenges of raising three children.

She has worked as a consultant paediatrician across a range of settings, including general paediatrics, genetic metabolic disorders and paediatric rehabilitation at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead, and rural outreach through Sydney Children’s Hospital. Minna now works as a staff specialist paediatrician in the Medicare Mental Health Kids Hub on the Central Coast and in private practice.

With experience in both metropolitan and regional healthcare, Minna has a deep understanding of the diverse needs of children and families. She is passionate about supporting young people with complex health, developmental, and behavioural challenges, with special interests in adolescent health, ADHD, neurodevelopmental disorders, as well as achondroplasia. Outside of work, she enjoys music, crafts, and exploring new places with her young adult children.
