Pandion Health is a private billing practice. We do not offer bulk-billing, and all consultations with Pandion Health practitioners attract an out-of-pocket fee. Fees are set by our practitioners and vary depending on service.
The information below is a guide to our current fees for the most common appointment types. Other appointment types may apply. Current fees are published on our pricing page.
1. ADHD assessment package
Both the initial assessment appointment and the second assessment review appointment are required. Please ensure both appointments are booked at the same time.
Even if you already have a previous assessment from a psychologist, two appointments are still necessary to ensure your doctor can carefully review your history, confirm the diagnosis, and provide a safe, personalised treatment plan.
If you have an existing ADHD diagnosis from a psychiatrist or paediatrician, you may be eligible for a reduced Take Over Care fee — a single appointment that allows you to transition your specialist care to Pandion without repeating a full assessment. See our pricing page for current Take Over Care fees and Medicare rebate information.
If further appointments are clinically required (e.g. to clarify diagnosis, complete additional assessments, or discuss treatment options), these will be billed separately at the standard appointment rate.
2. Fee schedule
Payment schedule
- 30% of the appointment fee is charged at the time of booking.
- 70% is processed automatically 7 days prior to the appointment.
- All fees include an additional processing fee of 1.3%, charged by Halaxy.
- Current fees are listed on our pricing page.
3. Important notes
- Attendance requirement: Medicare rebates can only be submitted after the appointment has been attended. Missed or “no-show” appointments are ineligible for rebates.
- Fees by clinician type: assessment fees depend on which type of clinician you see — psychiatrists and paediatricians have different fee structures and Medicare item codes. Full details are on our pricing page.
- Rebate variables: for paediatrician assessments, the final rebate amount is determined by the complexity of the session. Current rebate ranges are listed on our pricing page.
4. Cancellation policy
- Unless otherwise specified and agreed upon, accounts are settled 7 days prior to the consultation.
- All other costs related to your treatment, such as court reports, are payable at the time of service.
- To facilitate proper scheduling and management of appointments, the following cancellation policy applies:
| Notice given | Cancellation fee |
|---|---|
| Over 48 hours (2 working days +) | No fee — full refund |
| 24–48 hours (1 working day +) | 50% of appointment fee |
| Less than 24 hours | Full appointment fee |
5. Financial consent
Our preferred payment method is Halaxy’s secure database. More information is available at halaxy.com/article/security.
