Dr. Chatwell Habana is a highly qualified and experienced paediatrician dedicated to providing comprehensive medical care for children from birth to 18 years. He holds an MBBChBAO from University College Dublin, Ireland, and is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (Paediatrics & Child Health).

Chatwell began his paediatric training in Dublin at Temple Street Children’s Hospital and Crumlin Children’s Hospital. He then continued his training in Australia, where he gained extensive experience at Westmead Children’s Hospital, Sydney Children’s Hospital, and the Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH). Additionally, he has worked in a number of regional and rural paediatric settings across Australia. Chatwell spent two years with the Victorian Paediatric Rehabilitation Service (VPRS), honing his skills in paediatric physical rehabilitation and developmental disabilities.

Chatwell’s special interests include neurodevelopmental disorders, developmental disabilities, and paediatric physical rehabilitation.

Chatwell is passionate about health advocacy and enjoys interacting with families to ensure the best outcomes for his patients. He provides personalized care that addresses the unique needs of each child.

Outside of his professional life, Chatwell enjoys bushwalking, off-road driving, painting, and music. He is also an active and devoted father to three young children, who keep him busy and inspired.
