Pandion Health is an Australian telehealth service dedicated to ADHD assessment, treatment and ongoing care, for children, adolescents and adults.
We were founded in October 2021 by psychiatrist Dr Brendan Daugherty and paediatrician Dr James Mulvany, who had each spent years working across metropolitan, rural and remote Australia and seen the same problem from different ends of the system: people waiting years for an assessment that, when it finally came, rarely looked closely enough at what else was going on.
We now work exclusively on ADHD, and we screen for the conditions that sit alongside it as standard.

Dr Brendan Daugherty
Co-founder · Consultant Child & Adolescent, Forensic and General Adult Psychiatrist
Brendan assesses and treats ADHD in children, adolescents and adults. His general and forensic training means he is often the clinician who takes on the presentations where the picture is not straightforward — where trauma, autism or a long history of misattributed symptoms sits underneath the referral question.
He co-founded Pandion to build the kind of service he kept wishing he could refer people to: specialist-led, properly thorough, and reachable from anywhere in the country.

Dr James Mulvany
Co-founder · General and Developmental Paediatrician
James assesses ADHD, autism and neurodevelopmental presentations in children and young people. Much of his practice involves families who have spent years being told that what they are seeing is a behaviour problem, and his approach is to work with parents rather than around them.
He co-founded Pandion after watching capable families in regional Australia go without assessment simply because of where they lived.

Why “Pandion”
Pandion is the scientific name for the osprey — a strong, adaptable bird found across Australia and most of the world. It surveys vast distances with remarkable eyesight, and it goes where it needs to go.

Paying it forward
Five per cent of Pandion Health’s annual profits fund grassroots mental health initiatives across the country, from school programs to peer-led support groups.
