Dr Loxham recognises the importance of providing a holistic, recovery focused and evidence-based approach to care. Her expertise includes treatment of depression, anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorders in adults, children and adolescents. Dr Loxham works collaboratively with patients and their families to provide the best possible care in all modalities. This includes psychological therapies, pharmacological management, and particularly lifestyle interventions. She understands the relationship between the physical and mental well-being, and so advocates for improving patients’ physical health where possible. She believes that kindness, and a shared understanding of a patient’s experiences, is the basis for meaningful therapeutic work. She provides care for all ages, particularly from children to young adults.

In her spare time, Dr Loxham enjoys fitness and is a qualified trainer and yoga instructor. She looks forward to spending her recreational time at CrossFit under a barbell, or in the sunshine at the beach.
