ADHD assessment and treatment
Rhema is a consultant psychiatrist whose clinical work centres on ADHD, depression, mania, anxiety and obsessive compulsive disorder. She consults with clients aged 18 and over who have finished high school.
ADHD is rarely the only thing present. Depression, anxiety, mood elevation, obsessive compulsive difficulties and sleep disturbance either sit alongside it or account for the symptoms outright, and separating them is the substance of the assessment. At Pandion these are screened as standard rather than treated as an optional extra. Where ADHD is not the right answer, the person is told clearly, along with what the assessment did find.
Her clinical focus is deliberately narrow, and the conditions she works with are precisely those that complicate an adult ADHD picture. Adults who reach an assessment years after leaving school have usually accumulated some of them along the way, and the question is often which came first.
Background and training
Rhema has worked as a Staff Specialist in both a Psychiatric Emergency Care Centre and an Adult Mental Health Unit, which is a grounding in the acute end of psychiatry rather than the outpatient end alone.
She has a growing interest in virtual healthcare, and in what it makes possible: flexible, accessible care that fits around a person’s life rather than requiring them to rearrange it.
She is also open to supporting people with other mental health conditions on a case-by-case basis. If you are not sure whether she is the right fit, get in touch and our team will help.
Outside the clinic
Rhema cares about community building and creative expression. She connects with others on social platforms, curates photography, watches Korean and Chinese dramas, makes playful dance videos, and writes reflective pieces about life and the human experience.
