Telehealth Allied Health Services

Occupational therapy and speech pathology for mental health, neurological conditions, ADHD and everyday function — delivered online, Australia-wide.

Pandion Health’s allied health team supports people across the lifespan to live more fully, communicate more clearly, and feel more connected to themselves and others. Our allied health services can be accessed on their own, or as part of an integrated plan alongside psychiatry, psychology and ADHD coaching.

Both services are delivered by telehealth, anywhere in Australia, with online booking available.

Occupational therapy

Occupational therapists help people do the things they need and want to do, with more confidence and less friction.

At Pandion, occupational therapy is closely tied to mental health. We work with people across the lifespan, including those living with:

  • ADHD — executive function, emotional regulation and building routines that hold
  • Autism — sensory needs, transitions and coping strategies
  • Trauma and PTSD — nervous system regulation and rebuilding daily function
  • Chronic stress, anxiety or burnout
  • Disability or neurodivergence affecting self-care, productivity or identity

Our occupational therapist, Rebecca Morley-John, brings a sensory and trauma-informed approach that helps clients regain agency, reconnect with themselves, and build environments that support them, whether at home, at school or at work.

Speech pathology

Communication is connection. Our speech pathologist supports adults living with communication or swallowing difficulties related to neurological or mental health conditions.

Speech pathology is often overlooked in mental health care, but it plays a real part in supporting functional communication, social interaction and confidence, particularly for people living with:

  • Acquired brain injury, stroke or Parkinson’s disease
  • Voice and speech disorders, including dysarthria, stuttering and dysphonia
  • Swallowing difficulties, including dysphagia
  • Cognitive-communication disorders following trauma or neurological illness
  • Mental health conditions such as schizophrenia, depression and anxiety

Camilla Armstrong provides speech pathology across Australia by telehealth, with experience in both hospital and community settings. She works with adults with warmth, evidence-based care, and a clear sense of how closely communication and identity are tied together.

Funding and cost

Allied health is funded differently from medical consultations. Depending on your circumstances, occupational therapy and speech pathology may be self-funded, claimable through private health extras cover, or rebated in part through a Chronic Disease Management plan prepared by your GP.

Current fees are on our pricing page. Get in touch and we can tell you what applies to your situation, and whether we are the right service for what you need, before you book.

Why allied health at Pandion?

  • Part of a multidisciplinary team — psychiatrists, psychologists, coaches and allied health working from the same picture
  • Trauma-informed and neurodiversity-affirming care
  • Available Australia-wide by telehealth, including regional and remote areas
  • Online booking for both occupational therapy and speech pathology
  • No referral needed to book privately

Allied health is a substantial part of mental health and functional recovery, and it is often the piece that turns a diagnosis into a workable daily life. Our allied health team is small and deliberately so, and we expect to expand into areas such as dietetics over time. We also have a range of creative therapists who work alongside them.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a referral to see an occupational therapist or speech pathologist?

Not to book privately. A referral is needed if you want Medicare rebates through a Chronic Disease Management plan, which your GP can prepare.

Can occupational therapy help with ADHD?

Yes. Occupational therapy for ADHD focuses on the practical side: executive function, emotional regulation, sensory needs and building routines that survive a real week. It works alongside ADHD coaching and clinical treatment rather than replacing either.

Is telehealth speech pathology effective?

Yes, for most adult presentations. Assessment and therapy for communication, voice and cognitive-communication difficulties are well suited to video, and it removes the travel that often makes regular sessions hard to sustain.

What’s the difference between occupational therapy and ADHD coaching?

Occupational therapy is a registered health profession, works with sensory and functional difficulties as well as organisational ones, and can address underlying regulation. ADHD coaching is goal-focused and forward-looking. Many people benefit from both.

Do you see children?

Our occupational therapist works with people across the lifespan. Speech pathology at Pandion is for adults. Get in touch and we’ll tell you honestly whether we’re the right fit for your child.
